Maa Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage can be performed whole year by helicopter & trekking. Base Point of this Pilgrimage is Katra well connected by Indian Rail. If you come by flight, then nearest airport is Jammu AIrport 50 kms from Katra.

The devotees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji who are planning to undertake the pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Katra are informed/advised as under:-

Yatries registered through Online mode are requested to collect RFID Pilgrimage access card before commencement of Pilgrimage from Pilgrimage Registration Counter (YRC) established at Katra (Bus Stand, Railway Station, Niharika Complex, Counter No.02, Serli Helipad) and Vaishnavi Dham Jammu & Jammu Airport.

Only the pilgrims who are either carrying a valid and verifiable Final Certificate Report of COVID-19 Vaccination or carrying a valid and verifiable RT-PCR COVID-19 Negative Report taken within 72 hours of arrival time will be allowed to undertake the pilgrimage.

Pilgrims are also advised to follow the COVID Appropriate Behaviour like wearing of Mask, regular use of Sanitizers, maintaining proper Social Distancing etc.

Shrine Board has not authorized any Private Travel Agent/Agency for Helicopter booking from Katra-Sanjichhat-Katra.
